Hi, I’m Tori!
The Founder of Tidy by Tor
I am not what you’d call naturally tidy. My partner likes to joke that the vacuum and I are mere acquaintances. When I bake bread or cook, it becomes a full-contact sport with flour in the air and ingredients mysteriously migrating to the floor. If there’s a mystery stain left behind when we move out, let’s just assume it is mine, I’ll muster up the funds to cover the cost, and call it abstract art. Shoes off? Eh, vibes over rules. I specialize in making a space feel lived in, not showroom-ready. Because honestly, life is too short for spotless floors and perfectly aligned throw pillows. With respect for the cleaners, which I do in sharing!, I care about people, good conversation, and the weird and wonderful places we go together. Especially the ones inside ourselves. And if you’re here, I’m guessing you do too. 😄
My friends will tell you that I am the person who picks the brightest and most complex direction. Sometimes too much. But I have learned that when you build a backbone of simple systems and choices for your physical life, your home can support your colorful mind…and maybe more space for a little extra cleanup, too. Instead of feeling like you must fit into a box, we can build a physical system for a mind never forced out of its play.
